Background of World share
World Share is an international Non-Government Organization that has achieved special consultative status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council. The headquarters is in The Republic of Korea. World Share works in 32 countries to improve the lives of every child. World Share has spent 10 years working to improve the lives of children and their families. Since 2008, we reached over 4 thousand children directly through our and our partners' work. World Share believes every child deserves a future. Around the world, we give children the opportunity to group home, sponsorship, community development projects, health care projects, drinking water hygiene projects, and educational support projects for orphans. Began work in Ethiopia, in 2019 in response to fighting poverty and youth Unemployment in Ethiopia’ in SNNPR and Oromia regions.
Position Overview
The Field project Coordinator is in overall in charge of the day-to-day activities at the field site. He/She will supervise the day-to-day activities of various programs and operational units /departments staff in their site. The Field Coordinator is responsible for ensuring cross-departmental coordination and collaboration, that timely support is provided for effective program implementation, staff health, safety, and security, effective representation of world share in the operational area, compliance to world share policies and procedures, and accountability to clients and colleagues.
