The Training Assistant is in charge of assisting, facilitating, and supporting the trainers as well as DAAP and other IMS training. In addition, ensure that the training is effective and aligned with the company's goals. The training assistant is in charge of collecting training assessments and aiding with all company training.

Key Responsibilities:
Map out annual training plans for several projects.
Be the initial point of contact for questions about the Dereja Academy Accelerated Program.
Ensure effective logistics before and during course implementation, including liaising with the venue, preparing course materials in collaboration with the trainers, assisting trainers with material formatting and branding, and ensuring that all courses run smoothly.
Help Dereja Academy Accelerated Program trainees and trainers with logistics during the training. this includes arranging training rooms, organizing other training facilities, follow-up on trainees’ attendance, and collecting trainees’ feedback after every session.
Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
Assist with any other responsibilities that are needed to support the training unit in terms of scheduled courses and training delivery.
Market available training to university students and provide necessary information about Dereja training opportunities
Assisting the training unit in designing and developing training programs (outsourced and/or in-house)
Use known education principles and stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniques
Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each training
Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
Assist the Dereja Program team with the implementation of the Job fair
Provide the Training Coordinator with weekly and monthly project status updates, as well as final data and reports

Job Requirement
Qualification:
Training facilitation and coordination experience
Experience in the planning and implementation of training inhouse and Outsourced training
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work proactively, organize and manage own work and assist others to do the same
Experience in facilitating training.
Experience with e-learning platforms
MS Office proficiency
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
