KNCV is an international center of expertise for TB control that promotes effective, efficient, innovative, and sustainable tuberculosis control strategies in a national and international context.
Background
Ethiopia recently adopted an integrated COVID-19 response into the routine healthcare delivery system. This approach basis on the fact that running the COVID-19 response separately for a prolonged period will not be affordable and efficient. Thus, integrating the COVID-19 response parallel to measures to ensure the continuity of essential health services is critical. IMPAACT4C19 project will build on experiences learned from the integration and decentralization of services for another infectious disease. Under this imperative IMPAACT4C19 Project supported the national COVID19-response to meet the goal of COVID-19 testing and treatment interventions integrated into the existing health systems in supported health facilities, evidence generated on acceptability, feasibility, and effectiveness of COVID-19 services delivery models, Digital health solutions operationalized in supported health facilities esp. DHIS-2 system for COVID-19 response and strengthened national policies and strategies on COVID-19 response.
