Main Purpose
Supporting the Water, Hygiene and Sanitation (Watsan) Manager in the implementation and supervision of Watsan activities, including tools and materials employed according to MSF standards and protocols, in order to improve health and living conditions of the target population.

MSF is an independent, neutral, and impartial organization that is providing quality medical care, free of charge regardless of the ethnic origin of our patients, so to both local and internally displaced populations. So we ensure that our staff is aware of and respect the cultural differences of our patients and colleagues.
Currently, MSF Belgium is providing the most needed medical care in Afar and SNNP regions targeting host and Internally displaced people. A further need assessment is being conducted in different regions. Therefore, the opening of other project(s) could be soon a reality
Required Qualifications and Professional Experience
Education: Technical diploma, desirable specialization in water and sanitation.
Experience: Previous experience in technical works and organizing of multiple activities, preferably within MSF or similar work environment.
Language: Fluent English, Amharic and desirable local languages.
