Ethio-Asian Industries SC, formerly known as East Africa Kality Soap and Detergent factory, is located at Eastern part of Addis Ababa, Kaliti. It is the first private sector soap and detergent factory established by well-known industrialist and EAHSC chairman Mr. Bizuayehu Tadele to manufacture Laundry soaps, Detergents and Toilet soaps.
Ethio-Asia made partnership agreement with Zoscales Partners (ZP) to meet its objective of becoming strong player within the personal care space by aspiring the right niche market of the lower and middle-income class of Ethiopia. Given the continued growth and future expansion of EAISC, the following opportunity exist.
Job Purpose:
To manage, record, and account for all of the company’s payments and receipts. Provide support to the Finance department
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Collection of daily sales and deposits to the company bank account daily.
Monitor accounts daily.
Identify outstanding account receivables.
Investigate historical data for debts and bills.
Keep all cash and check in the safe box until deposited at the bank.
Maintenance of records of all transactions on excels spreadsheets.
Manage all cash receipt vouchers and records in Peachtree regularly.
Follow up with credit sales customers on daily basis.
Depositing money, checking in the bank regularly, and maintaining a good relationship with bank staff.
Identifying accounts with overdue payments and keeping records of the amount owed and the length of the delinquency.
Locating debtors and contacting them via phone or mail to address their overdue payments and determine the reason for the outstanding debt.
Update bank balance on daily bases and resolve problems if any.
Reconcile the bank balance with the ledger regularly.
Plan the weekdays to collect receivables from customers.
Pay wages for casual workers on time.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Requirement
Qualifications:
BA/Diploma (10+3) in Accounting/Finance or related field of studies
Experience:
2 years for BA and 4 years for Diploma (10+3) relevant experience in manufacturing or merchandising industry.
Required Skills and Attributes:

Proficient in computer skills like Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and use of the internet and other applications,
