Operator III -Boiler

Purpose statement: 

Under direction of the production team leader, Operator III has the overall responsibilities of cleaning steam boiler sufficient water and fuel before steam boiler work starts. Boosts the boiler in accordance with the order of the super controller and controls the correct operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make sure that the machine and environment is clean and safe for operation.
• Make sure that all the machine safeguarding’s are on place.
• Make sure you have worn all PPE properly.
• Prior to launching the Boiler, due diligence operation according to the operating manual, it first confirms that there is electric, oil, water, fuel.
• Check boiler, nose, spark plug, photo cell, and other components that we must be clear before starting the boiler.
• Monitor the amount of water and fuel required for the irrigation system and will require the water to be inspected for the quality of its work.
• Depending on the order of the official or the supervisor, the boiler will be raised, the required operation will be stored, and the fly will be switched on by opening the valve.
• Ensure and maintain a continuous operation by performing routine inspection, maintenance, monitoring metering equipment and adjusting levels as necessary.
• Promptly inform the close-up of the production process, hear the sound of a special sound or have a problem immediately with production Team leader, correct the correct deficiencies, and assist with the repair personnel in the repair work.
• Precautions, protects and preserves the product, equipment, parts and finished products supplied for the product.
• Ensure safety by monitoring safety equipment, identifying potential issues and tacking appropriate actions.
• Preform necessary repairs like regular inspections, cleaning, filter replacement, and other necessary actions.
• Keep documented records of inspections, maintenance and repair work.
• Comply to the EHS requirement of Wilmar in the day-to-day operation.
• Maintain activity log (Keep records of water, fuel, current & oil consumption daily).
• Follow up on maintenance and any unusual sound and vibration.
• Assessment risk areas on regular basis.
• Support the EHS person and the staff association to ensure the working environment is conducive and free of any hazard.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.
• Responsible for all machinery matters related to the wellbeing of the employees, in the premises of the operation ·

Qualifications:

• Level-II Machining industrial Electrical Machine Drive Surviving and related field of study.
• Minimum 2-years’ experience in an FMCG industry, in operator position.
