ENQOPA CHARITY ORGANIZATION (ECO)is an independent, impartial, and neutral Board Led CSO. ENQOPA CHARITY ORGANIZATION (ECO)has been established in May 2021 and reregistered as per the new ACSO proclamation with registration number 5592.
ECO aimed at bringing sustainable positive change in the lives and wellbeing of marginalized children, youths, women, and adults through effectively engaging them in the development programs and building their skills. ECO further focused on enhancing partnership and cooperation of youth focused organizations, youth network and other stakeholders (government stakeholders, community-based structures/ representatives, women, and people with disability associations and more). Which will contribute for development/ practicality of youth-focused strategic plans, initiatives, and programs by youth lead/ consortium organization regional level CSO’s and other stakeholders.
ECO has been implementing a project titled: “Youth Voice” with an implementation period of 5 months from November 1, 2022, to March 31, 2023. The project directly targets the region's youth and youth-focused organizations while giving special consideration to organizations/ associations working with women and people with disability. The project expected results include Contributing to engagement and recognition of the youth in the peace building community development process. To envisage this the proposed project outcome one the project will incorporate the following major outputs and activities: advocacy/ promotion for the development/practicality of youth focused programs, frameworks, and policies; Provision of capacity development trainings for selected youth groups on peaceful coexistence, engagement strategies, leadership and right based strategies and programming; And a Call for and rewarding of artistic Initiatives and creative ideas/ expressions that promote peaceful coexistence and peace building.
ECO is recruiting an external evaluator to lead a mixed-methods, youth engagement and participatory Endline Evaluation, with a focus on Youth Voice project three core outcomes of learning, transition, and sustainability. We welcome flexible and creative approaches that assess the impact of the program, generate meaningful learning, and include the voices of young people communities and other key stakeholders.
At least Master’s degree in Education, International Development Studies, Youth Focused Program, or a related field
At least 7 years’ experience in working with youth engagement youth voice and skills development and livelihood program
Demonstrated experience with quantitative and qualitative research, data base management and statistical data analysis
Experience of working in Harari
Proven record of communicating with beneficiaries. Understanding of youth policy, standards, and protocols
Ability to assess and further develop a conceptual evaluation tool. Relevant subject matter knowledge and experience regarding the thematic areas of this youth project.
