Supply Chain Coordinator

Role Overview

Our client, Kubik, is looking for an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team. The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the day to day Supply Chain operations in Ethiopia.

Key Accountabilities

The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Local and foreign procurement
• Delivery and inventory of raw inputs to ensure efficient production
• Coordination of end-to-end supply chain activities
• Transportation of raw materials and finished goods
• Inventory management
• Handling local and international suppliers
• Documenting physical supply chain process, such as work flows, lead times and system flow
• Monitoring supplier performance to asses ability to meet quality and delivery
• Negotiating goods and service price and terms with different vendors and freight forwarding companies
• Handling all importation needs, ordering, and timely delivery of shipment.
• Primary distribution of finished goods
• Collaborating with other departments to identify and close operational gaps
• Leading/coordinating supply chain partnership
• Planning of raw material as per production and sales forecast

Qualifications

• BA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
• Four and above years of experience in supply chain and procurement management
• Strong Communication skill
• Fluent in Amharic and English

Required Skill

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Amharic
• Ability to work with all levels of management in the company
• Proficient knowledge of supply chain procedures and policy
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent problem solving skill skills
• Excellent organizational skill and attention to detail
