Considers carefully at all times professional responsibilities as a Departmental legal officer and as an officer of the Court, and seeks supervision and assistance in dealing with any issues arising.
Provision of legal assistance and support across the Division.
Provides legal assistance and support to other practitioners.
Assists in the development of legislation and provides corporate advice as required.
Prepares criminal injuries compensation applications and manages other civil claims.
Shows willingness to assist the operations of the Division including identifying and helping to implement improved streamlining and electronic processes.
Undertakes professional liaison and consultation with key stakeholders including external legal practitioners, District staff and other Departmental officers, the Office of Criminal Injuries Compensation, the State Solicitor’s Office and the Public Trustee.
Liaises effectively with instructors, the field and other Divisions and sections within the Policy & Learning Directorate.
Liaises effectively with, and participates in improvements being developed by, the Legal Support Officers.
Maintains professional conduct at all times, learning and adopting the Department’s range of frameworks including in relation to own professional training and development.
Undertakes any other works to be given by department head

Bachelor's degree in Law or other related fields.
Minimum of 0 years' relevant experience
Well Knowledge Ethiopia’s Law and Practice.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
