Job Description Purpose of this Role Key Accountabilities § Develop and implement the digital marketing strategy including Creative, Digital Media, Social Media Management, Commercial Marketing and SEO § Provide marketing direction across digital channels including search, mobile, advertising, content and social media strategy. § Work with the Corporate team to finding the best way to adapt/implement gamification in marketLiase with the Corporate digital team inorder to analyse digital marketing performance on a regular basis and provide reports and recommendations to the marketing teams. § Stay on top of new developments, competitor activity, technology to recommend best approach to our digital communication § Analyse lead generation via digital channels and provide regular reports to stakeholders. § Optimise client experience, lead generation, social media integration and content. § Oversee all digital marketing campaign production processes from preparing brief to delivery (including presenting ideas to all the relevant stakeholders)Manage team members to ensure effective delivery of business unit objectives. § Develop a high performing team by embedding formal performance development and informal coaching. Encourage frequent knowledge sharing between team members. § Promote a positive brand image that will lead to an increase in the overall subscriber base throughout the Africa § Drive brand awareness, consideration, acquisition and positive customer behavior § Drive Customer education, Self Service awareness and usage through marketing campaigns § Drive awareness of packages offered as well as upgrades and downgrades § Drive Awareness and usage of VAS services/products and other digital platforms across all spheres § Collaborating with marketing team to ensure that all designs align with the brand guideline. § Transforming wireframes into intuitive user interfaces. § Working with the IT and Coporrate Digital departments to oversee the smooth implementation of new content. § Design digital media campaigns according to business goals § Coordinate and manage the creation of all digital and social media content such as website, blogs, press releases and podcasts, infographics, videos, posts etc. § Liaise with Marketing, Sales and Product development teams Suggest strategies and methods for improvement. § Regularly track and get insights into competitors' strategies § Stay up-to-date with digital media technologies and latest trends Responsible for managing implementation of the content calendar and planning out campaigns to ensure that the broader business has visibility of the suite of digital marketing (and social) activity that digital is running |
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related field.Experience
§ 4 years' experience preferably in a digital marketing function
§ Experience designing e-commerce websites or advertising
§ Experience in digital display, video, out of home are a requirement.
§ Proven experience of successfully developing & implementing Digital marketing strategy, with a focus on Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) is an advantage.
§ Intermediate Knowledge of graphic design
§ Deep knowledge with digital analytics, demonstrable experience in planning, implementing, managing and opitmising campaigns
Proficient in Amharic and one more language is plus.
