YHAENU PLC was established in 2003 by four visionary businessmen with paid up capital of 1 million birr. In 2013, the capital was raised to 65 million birr. Our head quarter is located in Burayu, Oromia region of Ethiopia. We have two story office building and three warehouses with the storage capacity of up to 150, 000 quintals and cleaning machineries for refining and packing our product items.
We have been exporting different kinds of oilseeds and pulses like sesame seeds (Humeral type, wollega type, reddish), Niger seeds, green mung beans and others for 16 years. We also import different construction machineries including dump and cargo trucks, pick-ups, tyres reinforcement bars. The reinforcement bars we import from across the globe are corrosion resistant and strong. They are suitable for Ethiopia’s building construction sector. Typical responsibilities of the job include:
Key responsibilities:
Financial Accounting and Reporting
Financial systems, procedures & internal controls
HR & payroll functions
Legal compliance and Corporate Governance matters
Staff supervision within the Admin section
Main duties:
Ensure accurate, complete & timely financial and management reporting, including monthly management accounts and bank reconciliations
Responsibility for all tax affairs
Ensure HR policies & processes are in place and adhered to
Company Secretarial Matters
Undertake ad hoc financial analysis from time to time, to assist CWP in evaluating income streams, and potential for cost efficiencies
Annual Accounts & Audit liaison
Timely submission of all external reporting e.g. Companies Office, Funding Bodies
Responsibility for all company IT including management of outsourced IT contract
Board reporting – providing finance and other reports as required for Board meetings
Manage budget processes
Continuous review all finance policies & internal control procedures
Operation of payroll, pension & PAYE matters. Production of payroll returns
Arrange authorization of electronic and manual payments, liaison with banks
Responsible for all insurance

EDUCATION/TRAINING
BA/ accounting & finance Admin or related field.
Job Requirements
Knowledge, skills and experience required
Minimum five years of experience of finance systems
Very good IT skills
Proven ability to produce budget plans and reports
