Factory Agronomist

Job Description

• The main purpose of the job is ensuring that quality and safety of the product and raw material is consistently meet.

• Observes safety rules and regulations while performing his/her duties
• Full control over the grading area: grading team, forklift operators in terms of personal safety and food safety
• Conducting onsite meeting with the team before commencing work
• Truck Inspection of arrived potato
• Making pass/fail decision of incoming potato’s based on laboratory and inspection test result 
• Making sure that tracks are offloaded on time
• Make sure potato sorting machine functioning well and also check the sorting sieves are assembled at their correct arrangement.
• Making sure that grading room and storage rooms are kept clean
• Follow daily performance of grading and forklift operators
• Making sure that stock it and stock out are made according the need
• Follow up on storage conditions and report if any sign 
• Cross check potato balance with the database
• Check for all data is filled properly
• Align with filed factory agronomist about daily sourcing plan and potato quality
• Making sure that 5S principles are implemented at potato loading/unloading and grading areas.
• Perform any duties given by immediate supervisor

Job Requirement

• Minimum B.SC. Degree in Agriculture, crop science, plant science, Horticulture and post-harvest engineering another related field.  

• at least 1 years of Experience in related field.

• Energetic, self-starter, organized and ability to work under pressure.
• Good organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others at all levels.
• Ability in the application of computer packages
