HUNDEE – Oromo Grassroots Development Initiative is a local non-partisan, not-for profit and secular charity organization established in April 1995. HUNDEE broadly envisions seeing a just world where women, men, boys and girls live in dignity and prosperity. Currently, the organization has intended to hire CONSULTANCY FOR Capacity assessment of WASH sector offices of Jimma zone.
The main objective of the assessment is to conduct Jimma zone WASH institutions (Water, Health, Education and finance sector office) capacity and identify their capacity gap to develop their capacity development plan.
Scope of the Assignment
HUNDEE together with WHH has been implementing WASH project in Mana, Seka Chekorsa and Gomma districts since 2015 with the business-as-usual approach to WASH. The sustainability issues of WASH facilities have remained a challenge to the WASH sector where high non-functionality rate of WASH facilities reported. Thus, a mind shift in the sector is needed where a complex systemic approach is required, i.e., a WASH systems approach need to be adopted.
