The Population Council is an international, non-profit, non-governmental organization (INGO) registered by the FDRE Agency for Civil Society Organizations (Reg# 0728) which conducts research and implements programs to address critical development issues and improve the lives of marginalized girls.
The population Council would like to invite qualified and registered Audit firms to perform project audit service for the period from April’22 – December ’22 for Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI) funded projectin accordance with the requirement of Donor.
Scope of service
The firm will audit the client’s financial statement for the period from April’22 – December ’22.
There will be about 7 (Seven) box files of accounting documents to be audited for the period.
The firm will audit the financial statement and the supporting documents of the concerned period and give his opinion on the fair presentation of the financial statement.
The firm should conduct the audit according to Accepted Accounting Standards & Agency for Civil Society Organizations requirement.
The audit will be based in Addis Ababa Office.
Management letter and project financial statement report will be the major output of the services.
In its proposal, the firm should provide the fee for audit service, the duration of the project audit and date of submission of the final audit report.
Population Council reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to bidders.
Job Requirement
Requirements:
Renewed license for 2015 E.C who have legal license and experience to provide Audit Service.
AABE registration certificate.
Professional license.
Previous project audit experience with International NGOS.
TIN and VAT registration certificate.
Maximum period for finalizing the audit work (the audit service is expected to start immediately).
