Program Background Job Purpose
TechnoServe has assisted over 200,000 smallholder coffee households in East Africa to improve their incomes by increasing the quality of the coffee they produce, boosting their coffee production and linking them to premium markets. Going forward, TechnoServe is developing innovative approaches and partnerships with corporations to enable more smallholder coffee households in East Africa achieve livelihood security. In Ethiopia alone, TechnoServe has supported over 150,000 smallholder coffee households to improve their coffee productivity and to improve overall coffee business over the past 10 years.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Coffee Programs Manager, the position will provide management of the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) components of the different Coffee Programs currently being implemented in Ethiopia. The M&E Manager will work closely with the Senior Coffee Programs Manager, other program and Project managers, external consultants/contractors, as well as specific TechnoServe’s Coffee Initiative Regional team members in day to day job activities. S/he will be responsible for Managing M&E data capture and analysis to support internal and external reporting functions through; Ensuring effective and timely implementation of the M&E work plan and survey delivery, managing farmer attendance database and best practice tracking for agronomy program, producing monthly scorecards, consolidating data for internal reporting (e.g., core indicators) and for external donors (e.g., results framework, donor reports) and analysing and interpreting survey results.

Manage agronomy surveys and all field data (Farm support, Agroforestry and Demonstration plots surveys)
