Under the general direction of the, Automotive Maintenance Department Manager, the Automotive Maintenance Foreman supervises the maintenance and mechanical operation of various automotive equipment. She/he Assigns assists the actual performance of vehicle maintenance and repair, including major overhauls to transmissions, engines, differentials, front ends; brake adjustments and relining, electric and gas welding, accident repairs and painting. She/he also inspects all automotive equipment to determine whether repair or replacement of parts is most practical; and determine maintenance and replacement needs.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Supervises the maintenance and mechanical operation of various automotive equipment;
Assigns and supervises the work of subordinate personnel;
Assists in the actual performance of vehicle maintenance and repair, including major overhauls to transmissions, engines, differentials, front ends; brake adjustments and relining, electric and gas welding, accident repairs and painting;
Inspects all automotive equipment to determine whether repair or replacement of parts is most practical;
Maintains records concerning preventative maintenance and repairs or replacements to the automotive equipment;
Maintains and submits reports concerning mileage & fuel consumption; Maintains and submits reports of all extra-curricular;
Maintains an adequate supply of parts, tools, and equipment;
Prepares periodic reports and submits to the mediate supervisor;

BS.C degree in Automotive Engineering /Automotive Technology or other related field of studies with 4 years’ relevant work experience
