The Social Enterprise Development Intern will support the growth and development of the social enterprise arm of Amref Ethiopia. Reporting to the Social Enterprise Manager, the intern will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct primary and secondary research to support the development of business cases and business plans for social enterprises.
Gather data and analyze it to assess the financial, legal, and market viability of new social enterprise ideas.
Support the development of financial models and revenue projections for social enterprises.
Conduct market research to identify potential partners, suppliers, and customers for social enterprises.
Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure all social enterprises adhere to local laws and regulations.
Identify potential risks and opportunities associated with social enterprise development.
Support presentation of the work to senior stakeholders to present research findings and insights in a clear and concise manner.
Job Requirement
Qualifications and Competencies:
MSC or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business
Strong analytical skills and ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing multiple tasks concurrently.
