KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Content Verification

• Ensure content is verified according to running orders and storyline.
• Escalate any serious concerns that could have Channel.
• Reputation and or Ethiopia Regulatory and broadcast
• Standards to Senior management.
• Ensure content is verified and rated within deadline.
• Ensure Catch Up content is prioritized to be verified and
• Rated in accordance to set deadlines.
• Escalate and communicate any content queries.

Scheduling Insights

•  Provide scheduling insight at channel planning meetings.
•  Respond to any scheduling queries from Channels.
• Ensure effective communication to stakeholders.
• Regarding high age titles
•  Ensure effective communication on titles not suitable for
• Rest of Africa
• Prepare Electronic Program Guide for all shows after
• Watching as per EPG guidelines

Regulatory Compliance

•  Ensure regulatory compliance.
• Rate all programs with for age restrictions and suitability.
• As per country broadcast standards
•  Moderate regulatory responses from each PA Officer
• Before submitting to Management & Regulatory Dept.
• Create and distribute weekly regulatory compliance.
• Status document on all complaints received.
• Assist Multichoice Regulatory department on any Content related issues.

Channel workshops

•  Present and engage all Channels regarding regulatory.
•  Guidelines and advice during script and pre-production phase.
• Channel & Production liaison to ensure regulatory and compliance. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

The incumbent is required to have the following qualifications and experience level:

• A Degree in Business Management/ Technical Sciences or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification Post Graduate Degree is an advantage.
• A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in broadcast or similar position
• Sound regulatory knowledge
•  Video Entertainment Industry specific knowledge and experience
•  Media and content experience
• Communication skills (Speaking Oromiffa language is mandatory)
