POSITION SUMMARY
To produce sustainable shareholder value by developing and implementing effective strategy for revenue growth, operational excellence and brand eminence and by building a strong executive leadership and organizational culture.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Define and cascade the Company’s business vision, strategy and business model.
· Lead the implementation of strategy and monitor the performance of business and functional units.
· Allocate financial, human and physical resources to business units, projects and functional departments according to their strategic priority, long-term value creation potential and importance to the Company.
· Develop corporate wide policies and procedures and lead in their implementation and continuous review.
· Develop and maintain key metrics and success measures, monitor and evaluate overall Company results, identify and mitigate strategic business risks.
· Review past performance; lead the development and implementation of annual strategic goals, and business plan of the Company.
· Develop corporate strategic plan and objectives and lead in their implementation.
· Coordinate and supervise the various functional strategies (Operational, Marketing, HR, and Finance) and their implementation.
· Maintain strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, partners, regulatory bodies and represent the Company in all external relations and negotiate with third parties.
· Cultivate conducive work environment and culture that celebrates success, promotes team work, customer service and innovation by developing and implementing a formal culture management program.
· Based on performance and audit reports, take appropriate and timely actions to address performance gaps or operational problems.
· Prepare and submit periodic Company performance report to the Board.
· Oversee the budgeting, reporting and auditing processes and ensure compliance with Company Financial policies and procedures.
· Authorize/approve various expenses within his/her limit of authority.
· Authorize/approve opening and operation of bank accounts.
· Ensure company business transactions, contracts, policies, and procedures are compliant with relevant laws and regulations of the Country.
· Lead the design and implementation of programs aimed at developing strong leadership for the Company.
· Evaluate the periodic performance of subordinates directly reporting.
· Manage disciplinary concerns of the executive management team.
PERSONS SPECIFICATIONS
Education: Master’s degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance or related field
• Full professional qualification is desirable.
Experience: (10) years of experience of which five (5) years should be at senior management level. Significant Director or Chief Executive management experience in a large Manufacturing, Mining or Multinational Company.
