Clinical Nurse

Job Description

Purpose statement: Under Direction of the head-health service the nurse gives first aid service handle emergency situation that employees may experience, examine employees and think to make healthcare recommendation, comfort employees who are in pain and explain problem clearly and communicators. In both verbal and written medium in charging with organizing employees health records in a way that is easily accessible and confidentially.  

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide basic healthcare needs to a company’s employees. This includes administering first aid where needed and evaluating employees’ overall health, keep patient data’s/information and referral as per procedure and closely following. 
• Keep patient’s data confidentially.  
• Responsible for administering medication and treatment that needs to be administered during work hours within the company medical clinic.
• Implement the required procedures and process regarding health safety standards.
• Ensure all safety equipment like fire extinguisher, first aid kite emergency eye wash site, hand washing etc are in good condition and functional.
• Ensure that all working areas are safe working environment for all and confirm that all hazardous materials are safely stored.
• Knows procedure in reporting incident and injury.
• Identify and implements necessary safety improvement.
• Responsible on reporting any unsafe conditions and unsafe behavior. 
• Responsible for facilitating and coordinating with the EHS & other departments to set up annual exams and physicals examination for canteen staffs, welders and drivers. 
• Work with employees to raise healthcare awareness. This includes evaluating an employee’s health and making lifestyle recommendation to improve their health.  
• Giving safety talk
• Report to Head-health service on overall employee health.

Job Requirement

Qualification:

BSC Degree in Nursing, Health Officer, Public Health or other related field of study with a minimum 2 years of experience respectively in public/private hospitals, clinic and organizational clinics or other related centers.
