To support vehicle maintenance activities by fabricating and assembling metal structures, welding pieces, and filling gaps.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Set up machine bodies for welding according to specifications.
· Weld pars/components using welding tools in various positions.
· Repair machines or components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
· Conduct minor disassembly and assembly components for welding.
· Test and inspect welded surfaces and components to discover defects.
· Observe tests on welded surfaces to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications.
· Determine the required welding methods and techniques.
· Perform complex mechanical installations per engineering direction.
· Read and comprehend drawings and specifications.
· Install piping, equipment, and other mechanical systems in compliance with drawings and specifications.
Job Requirement
Qualification and Experience:
· Advanced Diploma or Level IV in Manufacturing Technology/ Metal Engineering Production Management, Welding or related fields with two (2) years of demonstrated experience
Or
Diploma/ Level III in Welding or GMFA or related fields with four (4) years of direct experience in the field preferably COC Certified
