Position: Cashier Storekeeper
Duty Station: Wayu Tuka, East Wollega Oromia
Duration of Contract: One year contract renewable (with 60 working days probation period)

Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining and safeguarding cash and fuel coupons, preparation of bank accounts and cash balance. He/she will be responsible for the project’s store in receiving and issuing materials as well as controlling bin cards to show proper balance.
Basic Responsibilities:
Key Result #1 – Payments processing
Prepares checks for all authorized payments.
Processes bank transfer and exchange of checks.
Key Result #2 – Cash collection processing and deposit
Issues official receipts for all collections.
Deposits daily cash collections intact into the bank the next working day.
Records daily cash collections and payments and balances daily with cash on hand.
Key Result #3 – Safeguard cash/cash equivalents
Maintains and safeguards cash and fuel coupons.
Be responsible for the physical custody of petty cash funds and effects authorized small payments out of the fund.
Key Result #4 – Recording, documentation and maintain registers
Maintains fuel coupon register and balances daily with coupons on hand.
Prepares daily cash balances.
Prepares uncollected checks status list every weekend.
Be responsible to maintain complete financial documents for all payments made through cash office and inform timely to the respective person when there is a gap
Put a “Replenished” stamp on completed petty cash payment documents.

JOB LEVEL SPECIFICATIONS
Academic qualification / Work experience-
Minimum Diploma in Accounting with two Years’ experience preferably in a similar organization.
