The IT Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, providing technical support to end-users, and implementing IT projects to enhance the overall efficiency of the company's technology systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an IT strategy that supports the organization's overall objectives.
- Identify and prioritize IT initiatives that align with the company goal goals.
- Monitor performance and proactively address any issues or bottlenecks.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications or systems
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving technical problems in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems, software, and peripheral devices.
- Monitor and ensure the security and integrity of the organization's data, networks, and systems, including implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures
- Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities and risks.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, software, and hardware to improve the organization's IT infrastructure and systems.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute of IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and installations.
- Train end-users on new technologies and software applications.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluates their potential for integration into the organization's IT infrastructure.
- Meet regular plan and report deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven 2+ years’ experience as an IT specialist or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and systems administration.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Experience with server administration, network management, and security protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization, and storage systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ ) are a plus.
