MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications. Applicants without the below listed qualifications need not apply as they will not be considered in the competitive pool.
EDUCATION: Diploma in General Mechanics/Plumbing from a recognized Technical College
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in the maintenance of machineries and equipments out of which at least one year intensive work experience in repair & maintenance of kitchen & laundry machineries and equipments is required. Experience in welding works and ability to read engineering manuals & drawings are required. Reasonable experience in working on electrical & electronics is advantageous.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: Read, write, comprehend and well-spoken in English language is required. Other international language is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Good knowledge of reading mechanical & electrical drawings & circuit diagrams,; capable of working in a team environment and good physical fitness; excellent knowledge of the products and services provided by the hotel, excellent guest contact & communication skills; ability to work with minimum supervision and handle multiple assignments is required.
