Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) is a global network of daring social innovators who have the tools, knowledge, and networks to create opportunities and transform their own communities. DOT supports youth to become innovators and leaders, and to create and apply digital solutions that have a positive impact in their communities. We believe in the power of youth-led innovation, that communities can be shaped by empowering youth to create sustainable initiatives inspired by community needs, and that social innovation is accelerated when supported by digital technology. DOT Ethiopia, an Ethiopian registered NGO, is one of the founding members of the DOT network. Over the past ten years, we have connected more than 100,000 young women and men to entrepreneurship and employment opportunities in Ethiopia. More than 7000 youth and women were trained in ICT skills integrated with the entrepreneurship and business skills. DOT Ethiopia has a particular focus on promoting gender inclusion and will continue to advance gender equality as an organizational and programmatic priority. II.
The opportunity
The Opportunity This opportunity is open to Ethiopian nationals only. DOT Ethiopia is hiring Full Stack Web Application trainer to train selected refugees and members of host community. The trainers will be responsible for the training, mentoring, and supporting the participants in Full Stack web application program. The trainers are required in continuously assessing the performances of the learners and support learners cop with the lesson and developing the skills. The trainers will responsible in designing lesson plan, preparing mini-projects and preparing schedule for both face to face and virtual learning.
