Key Responsibilities
· Make sure that Oxfam cash is kept in the cash safe provided by the organization,
· Ensure that cash payments are made on time and upon written authorization
· Posting petty cash and cheque payments into the cashbook on regular basis;
· Ensure that all payment vouchers and their supporting documents are filed properly on daily basis
· Prepare petty cash replenishment request and present for authorization on time
· Ensure that all invoices for claims prepared by Oxfam are collected against Oxfam cash receipt promptly;
· Follow up settlement of working advances,
· Collect bank statement on monthly basis;
· Follow up and collect bank advices regularly
· Backstop senior finance officer in his / her absence and undertake additional responsibilities
· In case of emergency response, undertake additional responsibilities related to finance functions
· Other duties as agreed with the finance officer
Skills and Competence:
· Relevant qualification (graduate / diploma) in finance
· At least Four years’ experience in a finance/Admin role
· Good knowledge of accounting systems both manual and computerized
· Good communication skills
· Excellent knowledge of Excel computer programme
· High-level numeric skills
· Commitment to OGB principles

Knowledge of implementation area local language (Somali) Fluently spoken both oral and writing English and Somali languages.
