Manage, support and grow Raya Brewery S.C. sales through Authorized Raya Brewery Distributors within their defined geographic territory. This includes serving as the primary field liaison with distributors and their customers in order to increase sales and market share for Raya Brewery S.C.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
With Commercial Director, establish quantity and quality product sales goals for each territory that meet Raya Brewery S.C.’s sales growth expectations.
Establish a budget and manage time and travel to stay within it.
Locate and interview potential distributors. Support new distributors during their start-up period, including training, sales direction, and familiarization with Raya Brewery S.C. processes and strategies.
Manage existing distribution firms to ensure that only those that are meeting expectations are retained.
Attend joint sales calls with distributors to win major business or customers.
Identify potential large end-users and distributors who will increase territory volume.
Lead Management – responding to Leads by sending them to the appropriate distributor and ensuring following up; providing feedback to the organization.
Provide field training for direct and non-direct sales staff, including application engineers.
Sales support functions such as special pricing requests, trial and sample orders, product demonstrations and application advice, order expediting or recommendation of alternative products.
Logistics planning and scheduling for events.
Provide accurate and timely field reports which allow the company to respond to market conditions that arise in the field.
Reports are required regularly and on-time; activities are a measured appropriately.
Job Requirement
QUALIFICATION:
BA Degree in Sales and Marketing Management, Business Administration, Business Management or related fields
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 6-8 years experience of which at least 3 in a Managerial post. preferably from an FMCG industry
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Very good command of English and Amharic
COMPUTER SKILLS:
good command of MS Office word , Excel and power point
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Must have good sales and communications skills and the ability to influence promotional efforts of distributors and distributor sales staff.
Must have strong closing skills and be able to directly support and help close major projects’ business with the distributors’ sales people.
Must be able to effectively communicate and manage distributors’ efforts towards promotion of Raya Brewery S.C. products and achievement of company goals.
