The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) and World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) teamed-up in 2018 to form a consortium that aims to improve natural resources management in Tigray region of Ethiopia. The project is being implemented in four refugee camps is Shire namely: Histats, Shimelba, Adi Harush and Mai Ayni. The aim of the project is to strengthen the self-reliance of the refugee and host community members and support sustainable natural resources management initiatives. The specific objectives of the project are:
1. To improve the livelihoods of the refugee and host community members;
2. To ensure degraded environment around the refugee and host community settlements is rehabilitated and natural resources sustainable managed;
3. To improve the refugee and host community members access to clean and sustainable energy
Final Report
A final report for the studies is to include the listed information stipulated on the TORs, and all comments from the review sessions. The final reports will be presented in soft copy (both MS Word and PDF Formats) and three (3) bound hard copies. The final report is expected two (2) days after the approval and acceptance of the draft report by the consortium
